FERRITE CORES

Ferrites are a soft-magnetical, homogeneous ceramic materials, which is essentially composed of iron oxide (Fe2 O3) with carbonates or oxides of one or more bivalent metals such as manganese, zinc, nickel or magnesium. They are pressed, then sintered in a kiln at 1380¢J and machined as needed to meet various operational requirements.
The paramount advantage of ferrites against metals is high resistively of 10-1 to 105 £[/m and resultant low eddy current losses. By that means, the ferrite is especially suited for operation under awide & high frequency range from 10 KHz to 50 MHz. Mn-Zn ferrites have primary operational area up to some MHz Compared to that, Ni-Zn ferrites up to some 100 MHz. Additional characteristics such as high permeability, high time / temperature stability, high Q and low volume have expanded ferrite uses widely in to household electric appliances, communication & telecommunication equipment, computer & peripheral equipment, electronics finished products, electronic components and other high frequency electronic circuitry Ferrites offer and unmatched flexibility in magnetic and mechanical parameters.
Ferrite partisan easylink economically be molded into various of geometric depending on your application needs. Major application areas of ferrites are Power transformers, Filter inductors, Narrow band transformers, Broad band transformers Pulse transformers. Converter & Inverter transformer, Noise filter etc.
